The audience rewards the entering finalists with loud applause, who face each other on the stage, waiting for the signal from the president. The judges don't have to raise their little signs this time, they just have to point at the one they find more irritating after the 30-second duel.
The battle begins, and soon half of the audience is covering their ears. The other half is probably deaf, because enduring these two sounds together is nearly impossible. The half-minute is slowly ticking away, and Tessa must make a choice.
