With great difficulty, Stuffie convinces Tessa to go into the building where the other voices have taken refuge.
It's crowded inside, but the sounds and noises don't seem worried. Some are napping, while others chatting and laughing cheerfully. They only quiet down when the storm starts drummingspeaker wildly on the roof. The more experienced ones whisper anxiously to each other.
"I'm telling you, this is already a clapping hurricane!"
Through the window, Tessa sees how the wind rolling tree branches and umbrellas down the street.
"Lucky we didn't stay outside, Stuffie!"
